Script | 01 New Fire House at SIUE

This script is a news story introducing the fire house that was recently added to the campus of SIUE. I got the chance to film this story with a fellow class mate named Judae Price and I was one of the first students to actually take a tour. This work fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 4,6,8,9, and 10.

Script | 02 Life After College Podcast

My podcast Life After College was the first podcast I created while I was at SIUE. I produced this podcast to show people the ups and downs one may face once they graduate from college. In the show I had the pleasure of interviewing an alumni of SIUE named Shakeyah Brazelton. This project fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 3,4,6,9,10 and 12.

This script was a piece that I created for my advanced broadcast writing course. I constructed this script due to ongoing racial controversy which led to protesting on the campus of SIUE. This fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 2,3,4,6,7,9, and 10.

Script | 04 Kwame's Absence Script

Kwame's Abscence was a news story I produced that talked about the departure of an engineer named Kwame in the Mass Comm department at SIUE. I got the pleasure to interview  another engineer named Mike Cathey who worked with Kwame. This project meant alot to me because Kwame helped me out alot through my journey at SIUE. My work the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 4,6,7,8,9,10, and 12.

Script | 05 News Script

This script was the first newscast I ever wrote. I worked on this script with a fellow classmate at SIUE named Judae Price. In this project we summarized current events at the time in the form of a news story. We constructed this piece as if we were anchors at a news station giving an audience daily news. This fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 2,4,9, and 10.

Script | 06 Monster TV Commercial Script

In this piece of work I was given the opportunity to write a creative television commercial script. In my work I used one of my favorite basketball players as the talent in the commercial. I did not actually produce this script into a visual. This was just a creative writing assignment for my advanced broadcast writing course.This script fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 7,9, and 10

Script | 07 Young Dolph VO/SOT

This script was another creative writing assignment I was given the opportunity to do for my advanced broadcast writing course. In my document I basically summarized an incident that happened to my favorite music artist into a news story. This piece of work fits  the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 4,6,7,9, and 10

This story about Kenneka Jenkins is a script I created that meant a lot to me. I intended on filming and producing this news story. However, actual news sources are still unveiling new details about this incident. So I decided to hold off on actually producing it until I have all the facts about this treacherous incident. This story fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 6,7,8,9,10

Script | 09 Suicide Awareness/Prevention PSA

This is a 30 second PSA about suicide. I created this script to bring awareness to people about suicide and the statistics that correlate with it. Suicide is a serious matter that I tried bringing attention to with this piece of work I created. This PSA fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 3,4,6,7,8,9,10 and 11.

Script | 10 Poison Control PSA

This is a 15 second PSA about poison control and keeping poison away from children. I created this script to bring awareness to parents about incidents that happen on a daily basis dealing with children encountering poison. Poisonous encounters can lead to death. This script is basically directed to parents to keep an eye out on these things to prevent their kids from having future encounters with poison. This fits the following ACEJMC Professional Values and Competencies: 6,7,8,9,10 and 12.
